The 1987 Grand Am with manual transmission uses the force balance shaft 2.5L engine. The oil filter is accessed through the oil pan drain plug. This engine and oil filter will have expanded use in 1988.
Customers have commented that this oil filter is not readily available from their Pontiac dealer. Please ask your Parts Department Manager to stock this filter for your customers. The oil filter part number is 25012305-PF1072.
