Backup Lamp Switch: Service and Repair

Fig. 3 Back-up light/neutral start switch replacement:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect shift linkage and electrical connector from switch, Fig. 3.
3. Remove switch attaching bolts and the switch.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
