Ball Joint: Service and Repair

1. Remove control arm as previously described.
2. Drill heads off ball joint rivets, then punch out rivets using a suitable drift and remove ball joint.
3. Reverse procedure to install. Torque ball joint retaining nuts from below the control arm and torque to 51 ft.lbs.
