Models
Affected: 1988 - 1989 LEMANS
When replacing the stoplamp switch on the 1988-89 Pontiac Le Mans, do not adjust push rod length to compensate for switch adjustment. The push rod must be set to its own specification. Refer to BOOSTER ASSEMBLY (Section 5D).

The stoplamp switch has internal adjusting steps. Adjustment of the switch must be made at the time of installation.
