Procedures

VALVE BODY, REPLACE

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then disconnect T.V. cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove left front wheel and tire assembly.
4. Remove valve body cover attaching bolts and the cover.
5. Remove bolt securing TCC solenoid-to-auxiliary valve body and solenoid.
6. Disconnect TCC solenoid electrical connector from transaxle case.
7. Remove T.V. linkage bracket-to-valve body attaching bolt.
8. Remove remaining valve body attaching bolts and the valve body. Do not remove bolt ``A.''
9. Reverse procedure to install.

INTERMEDIATE SERVO, REPLACE

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove oil pan and gasket, then remove screen and O-ring.
3. Remove reverse oil pipe retaining brackets, intermediate servo cover and gasket.
4. Remove third accumulator valve and spring.
5. Remove intermediate servo assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque intermediate servo cover screws to 8 ft.lbs.

GOVERNOR, REPLACE

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Disconnect speedometer electrical connector from transaxle.
3. Remove speedometer speed sensor.
4. Remove governor cover and O-ring, then the governor assembly, Fig. 5.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
