Output Shaft

DISASSEMBLE
1. Using tool Nos. J-22227-A and J-33369, remove front bearing using a suitable press.

2. Remove rear bearing, 3rd and 4th ears simultaneously using tool No. J-22912-01 and a suitable press.

3. Remove blocker ring, needle bearing, key and 2nd gear. Then press the collar, reverse gear assembly and 1st gear from output shaft.

ASSEMBLE
1. Install needle bearings, 1st gear and blocker ring.




2. Apply a coat of engine oil to hub and collar assemblies, then match sleeve and hub assembly inserts with grooves on blocker ring and press sleeve, hub assembly and collar together using tool No. J-8853-01 as a pilot and tool No. J-33369 with a suitable press.

3. Install blocker ring, needle bearing, 2nd gear, and insert retaining key in groove.

4. Apply a coat of engine oil to the interior of the 3rd and 4th gear, match key with groove, align rear bearing and press into place, then using tool No. J-33368 and a suitable press, install front bearing on shaft.
