The pre-diagnosis inspection consists of a quick visual check of specific system components which could create an apparent Anti-Lock system malfunction. Performing this inspection prior to diagnosing specific symptoms, may result in diagnosis of a simple defect which may be the cause of an inoperative system. This inspection should be the first step in diagnosing a complaint. Refer to Fig. 9 for visual inspection procedure.
