SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE

In the 1989 Service Manual page 3-12 steps 7, 7b and 7c have been updated to reflect a revised pressure reading specification.

(Step 7)

The second to last sentence should read: Each reading should show at least 8,619 kPa (1,250 psi) and not the printed specification 6,895 kPa (1,000 psi).

(Step 7b)

If the pressure readings are high enough, but are not within 345 kPa (50 psi) of each other, the flow control valve in the pump is sticking; clean it and remove any burrs using crocus cloth or fine hone. DO NOT DISASSEMBLE THE FLOW CONTROL VALVE. Flush the system if required.

(Step 7c)

If the pressure readings are less than 8,619 kPa (1,250 psi) replace the flow control valve and recheck. If the pressures are still low, replace the rotor and vanes.
