Blower Motor: Service and Repair

Blower Module Assembly:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Electrical connector from blower motor.

2. Cooling tube from blower motor.

3. Screws attaching blower motor to blower module assembly.

4. Blower motor and fan from vehicle.

5. Nut attaching fan to blower motor shaft.

6. Fan from blower motor by pulling.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Nut attaching fan to blower motor shaft after positioning fan.

^ Tighten Nut to 1.4 Nm (12 lb. in.).

2. Blower motor to blower module assembly attaching screws after positioning blower motor in vehicle.

^ Tighten Screws to 0.6 Nm (5 lb. in.).

3. Cooling tube to blower motor.

4. Electrical connector to blower motor.
