Timing Cover: Service and Repair

1. Remove oil pan as described under OIL PAN.
2. Remove power steering pump and bracket.
3. Disconnect heater hose, then remove water pump as described under WATER PUMP.
4. Remove vibration damper, then disconnect lower radiator hose from front cover.
5. Remove front cover retaining bolts and cover.
6. Thoroughly clean sealing surfaces of front cover and engine block surface.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
