High or Low Oil Pressure
1. Check for binding, disconnected, broken, or improperly adjusted throttle valve cable.2. Inspect throttle valve assembly for the following:
a. Damaged or leaking throttle valve assembly.
b. Throttle ever and bracket assembly binding, disconnected, or improperly positioned.
c. Throttle valve or plunger valve binding.
3. Check pressure regulator valve for binding.
4. Check throttle valve boost valve for binding.
5. Check for incorrect throttle valve boost valve, causing low oil pressure only.
6. Check reverse boost valve for binding.
7. Check for disconnected or improperly positioned manual valve.
8. Check pressure relief valve for missing ball or damaged spring.
9. Check oil pump or the following:
a. Slide stuck and/or slide seal damaged or missing.
b. Decrease air bleed orifice missing or damaged, causing high oil pressure.
c. Decrease air bleed orifice plugged, causing low oil pressure.
10. Check throttle valve limit valve for binding.
11. Check line bias valve for binding in open position, causing high oil pressure or binding in closed position, causing low oil pressure.
12. Check for incorrect orifices or passages in control valve assembly spacer plate and case.
