No Upshifts, Delayed Upshifts or Full Throttle Upshifts


1. Improperly adjusted linkage
2. T.V. cable improperly adjusted, disconnected or broken.
3. Oil level low.
4. Governor cover worn or thrust washer missing.
5. Governor seal worn or cut.
6. Governor spring not seated or weights binding on pin.
7. Governor ball missing or driven gear stripped.
8. Intermediate servo apply pin sticking.
9. Intermediate servo seals cut or damaged, piston sticking or porosity in servo case bore.
10. Valves sticking in control valve assembly or spacer plate gaskets leaking.
11. Governor feed orifice to 1-2 and 2-3 shift valve clogged.
12. Valve body spacer drive to governor orifice clogged.
13. Intermediate band worn or burned.
14. Porosity in case cover, missing cup plugs or 2nd oil passage leaking.
