Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair

Compressor/Condenser Hose Assembly - 2.5L (VIN U):

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Discharge A/C system.
2. Line at accumulator.
3. Brazed nut connections at condenser.
4. Hoist vehicle.
5. Block Fitting at compressor.
6. Lines out the bottom.
7. Discard all the O-ring seals.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Block Fitting at compressor using new O-Ring seals.
2. Lower vehicle.
3. Brazed nut connections at condenser using new O-Ring seals
4. Line at accumulator using a new O-Ring seal.
5. Evacuate and recharge A/C system with 1.02 kg (2.25 lbs.) of R-12.
6. Leak test.
