Fig. 11 Headlamp Switch Replace:

1. On models equipped with airbags, disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. On all models, disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Pull headlight knob to On position, then reach under instrument panel, depress switch shaft release button and pull knob and shaft assembly from switch, Fig. 11.
4. Remove windshield wiper switch.
5. Remove switch retaining nut, wire connector and switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
7. Rearm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
