Fig. 27 Oil Pump Removal:

1. Remove oil pan as described under OIL PAN.
2. Remove oil pump attaching bolts, then remove oil pump and shims, if equipped, Fig. 27.
3. Reverse procedure to install. Torque oil pump to engine attaching bolts to specifications. Torque oil pump screen to engine attaching nut to specifications.
