Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair

A/C Compressor/Condenser Hose Assembly - 2.3L (VIN D & VIN A):

Tool Required:
100-C A/C Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Station.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Recover refrigerant.
3. Wire connector from A/C pressure sensor.
4. Line at accumulator.
5. Line at condenser.
6. Hoist vehicle.
7. Compressor/condenser hose from compressor.
8. Discard all the 0-ring seals.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Compressor/condenser hose at compressor using 0-Ring seals.
2. Lower vehicle.
3. Line at condenser using new 0-Ring seals.
4. Line at accumulator using a new 0-Ring seal.
5. Wire connector to A/C pressure sensor.
6. Evacuate and recharge A/C system with 1.02 kg (2.25 lbs.) of R-12.
7. Leak test.
