Door Lock Actuator
Connecting Rods, Push Rods, Bell Cranks:
The optional power door lock system has a motor actuator in each door which actuates the lock through a linkage. The system is actuated by a control switch on each front door. All doors lock and unlock at the same time from any control switch or manually from each door in the conventional manner. Each actuator has an internal circuit breaker which may require one to three minutes to reset, if overload occurs.
Remove or Disconnect
1. Trim panel.
2. Water deflector.
3. Rivets (5) holding actuator (10) to door inner panel by punching rivet center pins, then drill out rivets with 1/4" drill bit.
4. Wire harness.
5. Actuator (10).
Install or Connect
1. Wire harness.
2. Actuator (10) to door inner panel using 1/4" x 1/2" aluminum peel type rivets.
3. Rod bell crank to actuator (7).
4. Water deflector.
5. Trim panel.
