Ignition Lock Cylinder

Fig. 1 Ignition Lock Replacement:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove lower instrument cluster trim.
3. Remove turn signal and wiper switch cover attaching screws and the cover.
4. Turn ignition key to position ``II.''
5. Depress detent spring, Fig. 1, then slide lock cylinder out of steering column.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
