Ball Joint: Service and Repair

1. Remove control arm as described under CONTROL ARM.
2. Drill heads off ball joint rivets, then punch out rivets using a suitable drift and remove ball joint.
3. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten ball joint retaining nuts from below the control arm to torque listed under SPECIFICATIONS/MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS/TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS.
