Warm Up

NOTICE: When performing air conditioning diagnosis on cars with a catalytic converter, the engine must be warmed to NORMAL operating temperature BEFORE idling the engine for more than five (5) minutes at a time. Once the engine is at normal idle speed, diagnosis and adjustments can be made. Always shift to Park. ("P," with automatic transmission), apply the parking brake and block the drive wheels when a procedure calls for the car to stand at idle.
