Rocker Arms And Pushrods:

REMOVAL
1. Remove intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold / Service and Repair. Service and Repair
2. Remove spark plugs.
3. Remove exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold / Service and Repair. Service and Repair
4. Raise vehicle.
5. Drain engine coolant from block. For additional procedures refer to Cooling System / Service and Repair / Draining and Refilling. Service and Repair
6. Drain engine oil and remove oil filter.
7. Lower vehicle.
8. Loosen rocker arms until able to remove pushrod.
9. Remove serpentine belt.
10. Remove tensioner.
11. Remove generator and brackets. Refer to Alternator / Service and Repair. Service and Repair
12. Remove ground cable from rear of cylinder head. Refer to Vehicle / Locations / Connectors / Pictorial Views for harness locations. Connector Locations
13. Remove head bolts then remove head.
