This bulletin has been revised to add the 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992 model years and Labor Operation number. This bulletin cancels and replaces bulletin 88-10-48A. Please discard bulletin 88-10-48A.

Owner comments of loose and/or wavy door glass belt sealing strip may be addressed without replacing the complete door trim pad assembly.

The upper portion of the trim pad (support, belt trim) is available from GMSPO, Group # 14.691, P/N 12394510, Right Hand and 12394511, Left Hand. These support assemblies include the sealing strip.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.

Remove the front door belt support using tool J-28626-A, Kent Moore or equivalent. Install new support using same inverted nuts.
