Low Pressure Cutout Switch

Compressor protection is provided by a low- pressure cut-off switch on vehicles equipped with the V-5 compressor and the 2.5L (VIN U) engine. Normally closed, this switch will open below 255 kPa (37 psi) and will reclose above 324 kPa (47 psi). The switch is located in the rear head of the compressor.
