The front disc brake splash shield has been discontinued on 1991 Grand Am models.


Several warranty claims have been received for installation of front disc brake splash shields on 1991 Grand Am models. Also, the Technical Assistance Group has received calls regarding the splash shield on 1991 Grand Am models. Warranty claims for replacement of this part will be rejected.

The 1991 Grand Am Service Manual also contains some illustrations which incorrectly include and/or call-out the splash shield. See illustrations on pages 3C-2 (Figure 1), 3C-8 (Figure 10) , and 3C-9 (Figure 11), and note these corrections in your service manual.
