Coolant Level Sensor: Service and Repair

LOW COOLANT SENSOR:

LOW COOLANT SENSOR

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
- Partially drain radiator
2. Electrical connector from sensor.
3. Sensor.
- To unlock sensor, lift one leg of the snap clip from its lock position pull outward with a slight twisting motion.
- Note condition of 0-ring seal

Install or Connect
- Lubricate 0-ring seal with coolant
- Place snap clip leg in place
1. Sensor.
2. Electrical connector to sensor.
3. Fill radiator
4. Negative battery cable.
Tighten Bolt to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.). Inspect For leaks
