Method C
Heater Hoses:
Remove or Disconnect
1. Air cleaner.
2. Drain coolant.
3. Pipe bracket transaxle stud nut.
4. Pipe bracket block stud nut.
5. Loosen clamp and remove hose from dash side heater inlet.
6. Insert a screwdriver or suitable tool into slots on nipple and bend or break retainer locking tabs.
7. Pull pipe from heater inlet nipple.
Inspect
^ O-Ring sealing surface on pipe.
Install or Connect
1. Replace heater inlet nipple assembly or retainer.
2. Push pipe into nipple until retainer tabs lock.
^ Pull back on pipe to check for proper engagement.
3. Hose to dash side heater inlet, and tighten clamp.
4. Pipe bracket block stud nut.
5. Pipe bracket transaxle stud nut.
6. Refill coolant.
7. Air cleaner.
