Dieseling/Run-On

Definition: Engine continues to run after key is turned OFF, but runs very roughly.

POSSIBLE CAUSE ACTION

Fuel injectors. ^ Check for leaking injectors.


Incorrect idle speed. ^ Check Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. Testing and Inspection
^ Check throttle valve minimum position.
