Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

Fig. 3 Turn Signal & Wiper Switch Replacement:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove lower instrument cluster trim.
3. Remove screws from both sides of upper cover panel. Rotate steering wheel as necessary to gain access to all screws.
4. Remove three lower panel attaching screws, then pull handle from lock release lever and remove tilt lever, if equipped.
5. Depress switch release tabs, Fig. 3, then disconnect electrical connector and remove switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
