IP Assembly:

Remove or Disconnect

^ Disable SIR system.
1. Lower console.
2. Auto trans control assembly.
3. Auto trans cable bracket.
4. IP trim plate.
5. Steering column filler.
6. Steering column.
7. Cluster assembly.
8. IP compartment insert screws and insert by pulling rearward.
9. Bolts to steering column support bracket brace.
10. Bolts to dash panel.
11. Bolts to IP support bracket.
12. Bolts to steering column support.
13. IP wiring interconnect.
14. Vacuum harness connector.
15. IP assembly.

Install or Connect

1. IP assembly into position.
2. Vacuum harness connector.
3. IP wiring interconnect and bolt.

Tighten
^ Bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

4. Bolts to steering column support.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).

5. Bolts to IP support bracket.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 9.5 Nm (84 lb in).

6. Bolts to dash panel.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

7. Bolts to steering column support bracket brace.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).

8. IP compartment insert screws after positioning.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).

9. Cluster assembly.
10. Steering column.
11. Steering column filler.
12. IP trim plate.
13. Auto trans cable bracket.
14. Auto trans control assembly.
15. Lower console.
^ Enable SIR system.
