Unlocking Secured Radio After Power Loss

TO UNLOCK RADIO AFTER POWER LOSS
When battery power is reapplied to a secured radio, the radio will not turn on, and "LOC" will appear on the display.
Enter the security code as follows (do not pause more than 15 seconds between steps):

1. Turn ignition lock cylinder to "ACCY" or "ON" position.
2. Press "SET" and "000" appears on the display.
3. Press "SEEK" up or down and hold until the first digit of your secret code appears.
4. Turn "TUNE" and hold until the second and third digits appear.
5. Press "BAND" and "000" appears on the display.
6. Press "SEEK" up and down and hold until the fourth digit of your secret code appears.
7. Turn "TUNE" and hold until the fifth and sixth digits of the code appears.
8. Press "BAND"; "SEC" appears, and the radio can be turned on. The radio stays in secured mode.
