Trunk / Liftgate: Description and Operation

With the Ignition Switch in RUN and the Gear Selector Lever in park, voltage is applied through I/P Fuse Block Fuse 2 to the Luggage Compartment Lid Release Switch. When the Switch is closed, voltage is applied to the Luggage Compartment Lid Release Actuator, releasing the luggage compartment lid.
