Troubleshooting Hints

1. Check I/P Fuse Block Fuse 17 by visual inspection.
2. Check Circuit Breaker 4 by operating power door locks.
3. If one or more of the grid lines does not heat, refer to TEST A: REAR DEFOGGER REPAIR for grid line repair procedures. Test A: Rear Defogger Repair
4. Check I/P Fuse Block Fuse 5, and PNK/WHT (676) wiring for an open or short to ground, if both Heated Mirrors are not operating.
5. Check PNK/BLK (676) and BLK (152) wiring for an open at suspect Heated Mirror, if only one Heated Mirror is not operating. If wiring is OK, replace suspect Heated Mirror.
6. Check that the connectors on the Rear Defogger and the Heater and A/C Control Assembly are tight and properly mated.
