Normal Purge Mode

DESCRIPTION

After the engine is off for a period of time, moisture tends to collect in the heater case. When the heater and A/C system is reactivated the windshield may tend to fog.

OPERATION

The purge mode sets the A/C-defrost valve and heater-A/C bi-level valve away from the windshield. There is a S second delay before the blower operates, then it runs for 15 seconds at low speed. After the air is purged (approximately 20 seconds), the mode valves reset and the system resumes normal operation.

The purge mode is bypassed if the defrost mode is chosen.
