Heater Core: Service and Repair

HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT

Heater Hoses:

Tool Required:
J 37097 Mubea Hose Clamp Pliers

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Drain cooling system. Service and Repair
2. Heater hoses from heater core, using J 37097.
3. Retaining screws and A/C temperature valve actuator. Service and Repair
4. Retaining screws and heater core cover.
5. Retaining screws and heater core from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Heater core into vehicle and attaching screws.

Tighten
Screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb in).

2. Heater core cover and attaching screws.

Tighten
Screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb in).

3. Temperature valve actuator and screws.

Tighten
Screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb in).

4. Heater hoses to heater core using tool J 37097.
5. Fill cooling system.
