Test M: Voltmeter Test

With the Ignition Switch in RUN, connect a voltmeter between the positive and negative terminals of the Battery.
^ If the voltage reading on the test voltmeter is the same as the vehicle's Voltmeter, the vehicle's Voltmeter is OK.
^ If the voltage reading on the test voltmeter is different by more than several volts from the vehicle's Voltmeter, check the wires and Gage connections. If they are OK, replace the Instrument Cluster.
