With the Ignition Switch in RUN, BULB TEST or START, voltage is applied through I/P Fuse Block Fuse 8 or Fuse 2 to the Transaxle Position Switch. Whenever the gear selector lever is shifted to reverse, the Transaxle Position Switch contacts close and current flows through the Back Up Light to ground.
