Due to a fault code labeling error in the electronic brake control module software in 1992 Bonneville models, ABS/TCS fault codes 44 and 48 have been mislabeled as fault codes 43 and 47, respectively. Codes 43 and 47 should simply be treated as codes 44 and 48 when diagnosing a vehicle. The diagnostics in Section 5E1 of the Service Information Manual reflect the correct notation.
