Rocker Arms And Pushrods:

REMOVAL
1. Remove intake manifold and spark plugs. Refer to Intake Manifold / Service and Repair. Service and Repair
2. Raise vehicle.
3. Drain engine coolant from block. For additional procedures refer to Cooling System / Service and Repair / Draining and Refilling. Service and Repair
4. Drain engine oil and remove oil filter.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Remove dipstick tube and bracket.
7. Remove exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold / Service and Repair. Service and Repair
8. Remove serpentine belt.
9. Remove A/C compressor and bracket and lay aside.
10. Remove engine lift bracket.
11. Remove ground cable from rear of cylinder head. Refer to Vehicle / Locations / Connectors / Pictorial Views for harness locations. Connector Locations
12. Remove power steering pump and bracket and lay aside.
13. Loosen rocker arm until able to remove pushrod.
14. Remove head bolts and remove head.
