TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS:

Note: This section does not address conditions with the operation of the Daytime Running Lights. If the Headlight Doors work with the Light Switch, but do not operate automatically, see Daytime Running Lights.


Try the following before doing the System Check.

1. Check the HDLP DR#1 and HDLP DR#2 Fuses in the Convenience Center.

2. Check for mechanical binding by manually operating the headlight doors.

3. Check that headlights operate. If the headlights do not operate diagnose the headlight circuit.

4. Check that ground G103 is clean and tight.
