Some owners of 1983-92 Firebird models continue to use the stowaway (folding) spare tire. A blue, refillable CO2 inflator is provided to inflate this spare tire. Once used, this inflator canister must then be refilled with CO2 for re-use. Some customer inquiries have indicated difficulty in finding a source for refilling.

One source for refilling may be your local fire equipment company. Many of these locations refill CO2 fire extinguishers and can also refill these tire inflators. Please assist your customers in finding such a location in your local area.
