Test I: Oil Pressure Gage Accuracy Test
TEST I: OIL PRESSURE GAGE ACCURACY TESTDisconnect Fuel Pump/Oil Pressure Sender/Switch connector. Connect one red lead of a J 33431-B Signal Generator and Instrument Panel Tester to terminal A, TAN (31) wire (harness side), and connect the other lead to ground. Turn Ignition Switch to RUN. Set the resistance dial to 0 ohms, 43 ohms and then to 90 ohms. The Oil Pressure Gage should indicate "0," "30" and "60."
^ If the Oil Pressure Gage responds correctly, replace the Fuel Pump/Oil Pressure Sender/Switch.
^ If the Oil Pressure Gage does not respond correctly, check TAN (31.) wire, BLK (150) wire and Instrument Cluster Printed Circuit for high resistance. Replace the Oil Pressure Gage if the wires and Printed Circuit are good
