Synchronizers

DISASSEMBLE
Wrap 1-2, 3 and fifth speed synchronizer assemblies in separate, clean shop towels, then press against inner hub.


INSPECTION
Inspect assemblies for excessive wear and/or damage. Replace worn and/or damaged components as required.


ASSEMBLE
Refer to 1st image for 1-2 synchronizer assembly procedure, 2nd image for 3/4 synchronizer assembly procedure and 3rd image for fifth gear synchronizer assembly installation procedure. Follow installation procedures described or synchronizer failure and/or damage will result.
