Charging the System

CHARGING STATION METHOD
Tool Required:
J-23500-01 or Equivalent Charging Station.
Follow the charging instructions provided with the Charging Station with the following exceptions:
1. Do not connect the high-pressure line to the air conditioning system.
2. Keep the high-pressure valve on the charging station closed at all times.
3. Perform the entire evacuation and charging procedure through the accumulator low-side pressure service fitting.

These procedures will help prevent the high- pressure side from being subjected to the charging station if an error in valve sequence is made during compressor operation.
