Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair

A/C Hose Routing And Service Port Locations:

Tool Required:
J-38100-C Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Station

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Recover refrigerant.
3. Wire connector from A/C pressure sensor.
4. Raise vehicle.
5. Line at condenser.
6. Line at evaporator.
7. Retainer on evaporator outlet hose, located on bracket at rear of compressor.
8. Compressor/condenser hose from compressor.
9. Discard all the 0-ring seals and sealing washers.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Compressor/condenser hose at compressor using new sealing washers.
2. Hose to retainers.
3. Line at evaporator.
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Line at condenser using new 0-Ring seals.
6. Air Conditioning pressure sensor and wire connector.
7. Evacuate and recharge A/C system with 1.20 kg (2.65 lbs.) of R-12.
8. Leak test.
