Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Description and Operation

The hydraulic modulator located on the front lefthand side of the engine compartment controls hydraulic brake pressure during ABS operation. The modulator contains three motors, two solenoids and two Electromagnetic Brakes EMB's. The modulator acts on signals it receives from the ECU.
