Backup Lamp: Description and Operation

Voltage is applied at all times through the TRUNK REL Fuse to the Transaxle Position Switch (automatic transaxle) or with the Ignition Switch in RUN voltage is applied through the IGN Fuse to the Backup Lights Switch (manual transaxle). Whenever the gear selector lever is shifted to REVERSE, the Switch closes and voltage is applied to the Backup Lights.
