Troubleshooting Hints

1. If none of the Courtesy Lights work, check CTSY Fuse.
2. If only one Courtesy Lamp does not operate, check bulb and related wiring.
3. If the Cigar Lighter does not operate, check for power and ground at its connector. If OK, repair or replace component.
4. If the Cigar Lighter is inoperative, check for a poor connection. Check CKT 150 for an open between the Cigar Lighter and S230 or S372 (STE). Check CKT 40 for an open between Cigar Lighter and S201 or S321 (STE).
5. If the Cigar Lighter Lamp is inoperative but the Cigar Lighter is OK, replace the bulb.
6. If the I/P Compartment Light is inoperative, check CKT 152 for an open between the I/P Compartment Light and S230. Check CKT 40 for an open between the light and S201.
7. If the Vanity Mirror is inoperative, check that ground is clean and tight. Check CKT 40 for open between Vanity Mirror and S201.
8. If Underhood Lamp is inoperative, check for open in CKT 152 between Lamp/Switch and S125. For STE, check for open in CKT 957, CKT 737 and CKT 150 between Hood Ajar Switch and S124. Check CKT 40 for open between Lamp/Switch and S201.
9. If Inside Lighted Mirror Assembly or Header Courtesy Lights are inoperative, check CKT 156 for an open between Inside Mirror and S363. Check CKT 40 for an open between mirror and S319.
10. If one I/P Courtesy Lamp is inoperative, check CKT 156 for open between Lamp Socket and S214. Check CKT 40 between Lamp Socket and S201.
11. If one Rear Reading/Courtesy Lights is inoperative, check CKT 156 for open between S364 and the Lamp connector terminal "B". Check CKT 150 for open between S376 and lamp connector terminal "C". Check CKT 40 for open between S316 and Lamp connector terminal "A".
