Heater Outlet Hose/Pipe:
Heater Outlet Hose/Pipe Connection At Upper Heater Tube:
Remove or Disconnect
1. Intake plenum.
2. Coolant recovery tank.
3. Serpentine belt. Service and Repair
4. Wiring harness cover at right strut tower and harness at body.
5. Power steering line clamp at front cover.
^ Including generator cooling duct bracket.
6. Heater outlet hose at front cover.
7. Heater pipe retaining nuts and screws.
8. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
9. Right front tire and wheel.
10. Loosen right engine splash shield.
11. Right outboard drive axle shield retaining screws.
12. Lower vehicle.
13. Recover refrigerant.
14. A/C lines at evaporator.
15. Heater outlet pipe hose at heater core.
16. Electrical bulk head connector at front of dash.
17. Heater outlet pipe.
Install or Connect
1. Heater outlet pipe.
2. Electrical bulk head connector at front of dash.
3. Heater outlet pipe hose at heater core.
Important
^ Clamp position (±15 degrees) is 3 o'clock when viewed from the front of vehicle looking towards component nozzle.
4. A/C lines at evaporator.
5. Evacuate, charge and leak test system.
6. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
7. Right outboard drive axle shield retaining screws.
8. Tighten right engine splash shield.
9. Right front tire and wheel.
10. Lower vehicle.
11. Heater outlet pipe retaining nut and screws.
Tighten
^ Screws to 12 N.m (106 lb. in.).
^ Nuts to 3 N.m (27 lb. in.).
12. Heater outlet hose at coolant pump nozzle.
Important
^ Clamp position (±15 degrees) is 3 o'clock when viewed from front of vehicle looking towards component nozzle.
13. Power steering line clamp at front cover.
^ Including generator cooling duct bracket.
14. Wiring harness at body and harness cover at right strut tower.
15. Serpentine belt.
16. Coolant recovery tank.
17. Intake plenum.
