Fig. 13 Oil Pan Installation:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Drain engine oil.
4. Disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold or waste gate, as required.
5. Remove flywheel cover attaching bolts.
6. Remove oil pan bolts and oil pan.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Apply sealer to oil pan and oil pan gasket as shown in Fig. 13. Also coat threads of oil pan bolts with sealer. Torque bolts to specifications.
