Timing Belt Front Cover Replace

Timing Belt & Components:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Battery ground cable.
2. Serpentine belt.
3. Loosen serpentine belt tensioner bolt and allow tensioner arm to swing downward.
4. Timing belt cover attaching bolts and nuts.
5. Timing belt cover.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Timing belt cover.
2. Timing belt cover attaching bolts and nuts and torque to 7 Nm (62 in lbs).
3. Serpentine belt tensioner into position and torque to 48 Nm (35 ft lbs).
4. Serpentine belt.
5. Battery ground cable.
